What is Affix.
Affix Code Generator is a free Visual studio add-in that generates code based on user defined code templates. A code template can be applied to various functions, sub, properties and event handlers. Affix Code Generator is tailor made for adding try catch blocks to a complete visual studio solution in few clicks.
Affix reads the solution\project loaded in IDE to create the target procedure list depending on criteria set by the user. Once the list is created, the selected code template is applied to the selected procedures in the target list.
Features
  • Confine the target procedure list based on module type, procedure type and scope.

  • Option to write vb code to filter the target procedure list.

  • Multiple User Defined code templates to choose from.

  • Detects the new errors & warning before committing the generated code

  • Allows to rollback the generation process.
